The Basics
Knowing the rules of roulette is necessary to win, but unfortunately not enough chips to bet randomly on the green carpet!
The table
The first thing to do to figure out how to play roulette is to analyze the “playground”. Roulette rules state that you play on the green carpet, divided into areas and boxes, of which 37 are numbered (from 0 to 36) and others with a range of betting opportunities “cumulative”, that are red / black, odd / even , manque 1-18/passe 19-36 and dozens (1-12, 13-24, 25-36).
Bets
Every possible combination of betting against the rules of roulette has its share of successes to the player. Clearly the game easier, but also less profitable, is to focus on simple combinations possible with 50%, as red / black or odd / even. These combinations, if successful, will be paid once the mail (ie you win the equivalent of the stake, in addition to taking back their wager: If they win four games two chips), dozens are paid two times the bet, having possibility equal to 1/3, as well as the bet on a column, and so on until the bet that overcomes most of which is the number dry, that is paid 35 times the mail played. According to the rules of roulette, there are several other possible combinations: you can bet on a row of three numbers (11 times the bet), on a quadrant of four numbers (8 times the bet), a pair of neighboring numbers, or horse (17 times the bet). You can also choose to place bets using combined simultaneously more than one bet at a time. To familiarize yourself with the different bets and with the rules of roulette, you should try the free roulette.
Les jeux sont faits
The bets are made very quickly until the croupier throws the famous ad “Rien ne va plus, les jeux sont faits”, that snapshot of the table at that very moment, not allowing further development or bets. At this point it is just waiting for the ball will stop on one of the numbers of the wheel, making winning or losing each type of bet made previously by the participants.
